BIDDEFORD — With school back in session for thousands of children in Biddeford, the city’s Recreation Department has launched its fall programming schedule for 2017.

The popular Cub Care Afterschool Program is back and the openings are still available for the 2017-2018 school year.

The Cub Care Afterschool Program is for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 and operates out of Biddeford Intermediate School on Hill Street.

It offers a variety of options throughout the school year including two-day, three-day, four-day or five-day afterschool options.

Biddeford’s Teen Center opened Tuesday at Rotary Park.

The center is open from 2:30 to 5:45 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and is available for students in Grades 6 to 12 with transportation provided back into the city at 5:45 p.m.

Free to Biddeford students, the Teen Center offers a chance to make new friends, as well asfood, computers, pool tables, foosball, air hockey, a snack bar, cooking sessions, video games, monthly mall trips and lots more.

Starting in October, pickups and returns to the Biddeford Teen Center will be available at Biddeford Middle School on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

The Biddeford Youth Program also has started a new season with practice and games this fall.
