BIDDEFORD — The next meeting and luncheon of the Biddeford 50 Plus Club will be at Duffy’s Tavern & Grill, 168 Saco Ave. in Old Orchard Beach, on Sept. 12.
The menu will consist of a choice of either roast pork, or meatloaf complete with mashed potatoes, rolls and butter, dessert and either coffee of tea. The cost is $20 per person.
Call 282-5005, or stop by the Ross Center, 189 Alfred St. in Biddeford to make your entrée choice, and to pay for your lunch, before Thursday, Sept. 7.
On Aug. 8, the Biddeford 50 Plus Club held its August luncheon and meeting at the Clambake on Pine Point Road, in Scarborough.
There were 99 members in attendance and all enjoyed a complete lunch buffet. Gloria Jean was the entertainer and as always, memebsr said that she did a fabulous job.
Stephanie Ruel has assumed the duties as President of the Biddeford 50 Plus Club, upon the resignation of Mike Pendergrass.
Donnette Slyvestre has been selected by the club board to serve as the Interim Vice President until the next general election in November 2018.
