Longtime Old Orchard Beach High School teacher and coach John Regan was honored by the Old Orchard Beach Surge on Monday for his retirement. The minor league team had Regan throw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game against the Road City Explorers at The Ballpark. Regan fired a strike to catcher Joe Coyne, who played college baseball at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.
