ARUNDEL — Town officials in Arundel have scheduled the annual town election and a referendum for RSU 21 for Tuesday, June 11.
The election will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Arundel Central Fire Station on the Limerick Road.
Registration of new voters, along with name or address changes may be made with the Registrar at the Arundel Town Office on Limerick Road during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or at the polls on Election Day.
Voters may request an absentee ballot or vote in person at the Town Clerk’s Office without any specific reason until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6.
After that date, an absentee ballot can only be obtained for special circumstances and telephone requests can be made by the voter as well.
During the election, voters will elect two town selectmen, the RSU 21 director, two budget budget board members for three-year terms and one budget board member for a one-year term.
Voters will also approve or disapprove the RSU 21 schools budget during the referendum.
