
He was born May 23, 1952 in Portland, the son of Ernest Maberry and Marilan Goodwin Van Tassel.
He went to school in Buxton then served in the U. S. Navy. He loved taking long car rides with his wife exploring the back roads of Maine, spending time with his family and enjoying his grandchildren.
He is survived by: his wife of 38 years Joanne Michaud Stone of Sanford; four children, Amanda Stevens Stone of Sanford, Jake Stone, Billie-Jo Castaldo and Laurie Bruce, all of Buxton; five brothers, Butch Stone, Steve Stone, Paul Maberry, Scott Maberry and Earl Maberry; three sisters, Karen Chagnon, Eleanor Bedard and Lisa Stone; nine grandchildren, Phoenix, Jonathan, Xavier, Ricky, Jaise, Adalynn, Brock, Scotty and Emma.
