DAYTON — Madeleine L. Langley, 87, of Dayton and formerly of Biddeford died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at her home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1930 in Biddeford, a daughter of Arthur and Marie Laure (Labrecque) Roy and attended Biddeford schools, graduating from St. Joseph High School in the Class of 1949.

On Aug. 25, 1951 she married Jerry E. Langley Jr. in St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.

Madeleine was preceded in death by Jerry, her husband of 49 years, on May 10, 2001.

She leaves several daughters and sons-in-law Nanette Showalter, JoAnn Proulx, Janet Sarno and her husband Chris, Donna Laliberte-Caron, Patricia Richard and her husband Daniel; a sister, Simone Gadbois and her husband Robert; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday Nov. 3 at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
