
He was born on
April 26,
1929, in Lebanon, a son of the late Theodore R. Sr., and Grace M. (Goodwin) Gerrish. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952, stationed in Germany.
He was employed by the Maine Department of Transportation for 50 years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.
He is survived by: his wife of 61 years, Fedora; three sons, Bert, Paul, and Frank; one daughter, Cathy; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Lebanon.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll- Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
