SoPo Unite – All Ages, All In is a community coalition involving school, city, police, community organizations, businesses, parents and most importantly, students aimed to reduce substance use and abuse among our youth.

Navy Commodores Jazz group coming Nov. 5
We have a great musical group appearing at the South Portland Auditorium this Fall, the United States Navy Commodores from Washington, D.C.
This is the Navy’s finest jazz group, taken from the leading universities and colleges throughout country. This special jazz event coincides with its fall northeast tour and is something not to be missed.
The event is Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.

South Portland Health Office info and flu clinic
The South Portland Health Office has put together an infographic for our community to help us to stay healthy.
A flu clinic is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m., Nov. 7 at the South Portland Community Center.

City of South Portland Pedestrian Safety Forums
We encourage all concerned with safe walking and biking in South Portland to attend the upcoming pedestrian safety forums that the city is hosting with the Maine Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Bike Coalition of Maine.
These sessions, listed below, will help prioritize the highest need areas in South Portland and also make us eligible for up to $400,000 in matching funds to help with pedestrian safety improvements. Here is the remaining date:
