YNDONVILLE, Vt. — A Vermont woman has pleaded guilty to embezzling $315,000 from her employer.
WCAX-TV reports Sarah Sanville of Sheffield pleaded guilty this week to federal forgery charges as part of a plea deal.
The 32-year-old Sanville admitted to taking the money while working as a bookkeeper at Radiantec, a Lyndonville company that makes heating systems. Prosecutors said she wrote checks to herself and other people or organizations for her benefit.
Sanville initially pleaded not guilty to the charges in November.
