WESTBROOK — Police are looking for Said Mohamud who is suspected in a stabbing Aug 9. at a residence on Cumberland Street.
Police say Mohamud stabbed the 57-year-old victim multiple times around 9:30 p.m at 637 Cumberland St. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police noted that Mohamud also goes by the name “Cam.”
“An arrest warrant has been issued for Said on the charge of Elevated Aggravated Assault, a class A felony. In addition, Mohamud was on probation, and a probation revocation warrant has been issued for his arrest,” Capt. Steve Goldberg said. “(Mohamud) is described as a black male, 32 years of age, 6’3” tall, weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.”
