PORTLAND — Portland police are investigating an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms convenience store on Pine Street.

Lt. Robert Ridge said the suspect, described as a white male about six feet tall, entered the store shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday and pointed a handgun at the clerk.

“He told the clerk, give me all your money,” Ridge said. The clerk obliged and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber fled on foot. He was wearing a ski mask and a dark hooded jacket.

Portland police used a canine to track the suspect through the West End but lost the trail on Dow Street.
