CUMBERLAND — School Administrative District 51 staff are due to take part in a campus-wide emergency evacuation exercise Friday, Oct. 5.

The school system is conducting the drill on a day students will not be in school to prepare staff in the event of a real emergency.

Cumberland police and fire departments will assist staff in rehearsing the drill using SAD 51’s bus fleet. The drill could cause minor traffic delays on Main Street and Tuttle Road near the intersection of Route 9 and Blanchard Road.
