PORTLAND – Portland police are investigating a robbery that took place Thursday afternoon at the
TruChoice Federal Credit Union on Park Avenue.

Police said a man entered the credit union armed with a gun. He demanded cash from two tellers and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber is described as a white male, who was wearing a dark colored sweat shirt with the hood covering his face and head. He was also wearing a ski mask.

There were several customers and employees present when the suspect entered the credit union around 4:24 p.m.

Police are investigating whether this incident may be related to the Jan. 11 robbery at the Cumberland Farms store on Pine Street and the Jan. 12 robbery at the University Credit Union on Forest Avenue.
