PORTLAND – Josh Britten scored 14 points to help Yarmouth to a 52-45 boys’ basketball victory over Waynflete Wednesday night.

The Clippers (9-2) went ahead 32-18 in the first half.

Nathan Shields-Auble, who scored eight points during a 20-10 run in the second quarter, and Chris Knaub each finished with 12 points.

Jack Cutler and Serge Nyirikamba each had eight points for Waynflete (8-2).

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 82, PINE TREE ACADEMY 19: Andrew Fleury scored 16 points to lead 11 Seagulls with at least a basket against the Breakers (1-6) at Freeport.

Quincy Grace had 10 points, Nick Carlin and Joe Gildard added eight apiece and Cole Hamilton finished with seven for the Seagulls (4-6).

Zach Wilday had 12 points for Pine Tree.

TRAIP ACADEMY 50, A.R. GOULD 47: Matt Clifford scored 23 points and Atencio Martin added 14 as the Rangers (4-6) topped the Bears (5-3) at South Portland.

Zacharia Mohamed scored 22 points with 15 rebounds for the Bears.

HYDE 45, RICHMOND 16: Hyde’s backcourt of Tyquan Ekejiuba and Talin Rowe keyed the defensive pressure that held the Bobcats (3-8) to just one point during a first half in which the Phoenix (9-0) opened a 27-1 lead in Richmond.

DIRIGO 83, BOOTHBAY REGION 49: Dirigo (10-0), sparked by T.J. Frost’s defense, countered Boothbay’s (8-2) opening 9-3 run with a 37-8 run to take control over the matchup between Western Class C’s number one and number three teams in Dixfield.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

YARMOUTH 49, WAYNFLETE 33: Sean Cahill and Morgan Cahill scored 12 points each as the Clippers (4-7) dominated Waynflete (5-5) in Yarmouth.

Rhiannan Jackson’s 10 led the Flyers.

SACOPEE VALLEY 33, KENTS HILL 25: Morgan Sanborn and Kristen Lyle each had eight points as Sacopee Valley (3-6) beat visiting Kents Hill (2-3).

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 62, PINE TREE ACADEMY 46: Abigail Dubois scored 14 points and the Seagulls (6-5) used early long-range shooting to defeat the visiting Breakers (2-6).

Haley Plante made three of OOB’s five first-quarter 3-pointers to help the Seagulls to a 23-4 lead after one quarter.

TRAIP ACADEMY 80, HEBRON ACADEMY 8: Selena Lorrey scored 17 points as the Rangers (6-4) handled the Lumberjacks (1-6) at Kittery.

Alli Barrett scored 14 points points for Traip.

BOOTHBAY REGION 48, MONMOUTH 33: Alexandra Clarke 12 points led the Seahawks (5-5) past Monmouth (6-6) in Boothbay.

FALMOUTH 9, ST. DOMINIC 3: Lucy Meyer scored four times during Falmouth’s (14-0) victory over the Saints (1-12) in Lewiston.
