NEW FACES

Dianne Fazio was named manager at Two Lights Home Care in Cape Elizabeth. Fazio of Westbrook  was previously the manager of marketing and communications for a senior living community in Portland.

 • Sara Vanderwood joined Maine Street Solutions. Vanderwood previously worked in the Senate Republican Office, where she served as chief of staff during the past year.

 • Joy Foster was hired at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital to work with its diabetes education team. Foster has several years of experience working at Coastal Health Center.

• Betsy Norcross Plourde was named executive director of Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care. Plourde was previously executive director of Advocates for Children in Lewiston. 

• Mark A. Pettingill was named president of Patrons Oxford Insurance Company in Auburn. Pettingill will succeed Walter “Pete” Smythe as chief executive officer in April 2012, when Smythe retires. Pettingill of Scarborough has 21 years of experience in marketing, underwriting and management. For the past 17 years, he has managed the Portland office of Philadelphia Insurance Company.

PROMOTIONS

• Joseph Stokinger was promoted to pharmacist in charge for Bedard Senior Care Pharmacy on Minot Avenue in Auburn. He most recently served as a pharmacist at Bedard Pharmacy on College Street in Lewiston.
