City employees are joined by employees of cPort Credit Union and an AmeriCorps volunteer Jan. 10 in Portland City Hall to assemble about 200 care packages to be given to guests of the Oxford Street Shelter and Family Shelter. The credit union donated $500 for snacks, personal-care items, school supplies, gloves and socks. City employees also made their own donations before about 40 people pitched in to pack the items.
