‘A Good Man with a Dog’
Maine game warden Roger Guay and Maine crime writer Kate Flora will be at Spaulding Memorial Library in Sebago at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, to discuss  their new book “A Good Man with a Dog.”

Guay, with the warden service for 25 years, talks of wild chases, night stakeouts, recues and body recoveries. He was instrumental in resurrecting the service’s use of dogs for searches and went to New Orleans to help after Hurricane Katrina. He also speaks of the toll on himself and his family, suffering post traumatic stress.

Flora, a former assistant attorney general, has written many mystery and true crime books, including “Finding Amy: A True Story of Murder in Maine.”

The library is located at 282 Sebago Road (Route 114), Sebago.
