The Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation System, or PACTS, has determined which road projects will be designed and/or built during the next three years.
Among the projects now slated for funding include a road paving project on Scott Dyer Road in Cape Elizabeth for $227,698; a road design review for Gorham Road in Scaborough for $400,000; and a preliminary design study to extend the multi-use path along Main Street in South Portland to Cash Corner.
The PACTS region covers 18 municipalities from Freeport to Arundel and the agency works closely with the Maine Department of Transportation, which builds the projects selected.
