The town of Cape Elizabeth will hold its 33rd annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 18, at Fort Williams Park. The event is free and open to the public and will be book-ended by a parade in the morning and a fireworks show at night.
The day kicks off with a parade down Shore Road at 10 a.m. and an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. Other events include live music by the Don Campbell Band, Sea Grass and the Casco Bay Wind Ensembe and hot air ballon rides, weather permitting, in the lower field.
The day also includes a variety of games and contests, such as the popular giant water balloon toss and the annual dog show. Families can also enjoy train rides and a petting zoo, as well as demonstrations and a climbing wall, an inflatable obstacle course and bungee jumping. Food trucks will also be on hand all day. The rain date is Sunday, June 19.
