Accidentally mailed
On Dec. 5, at about 10 a.m., a customer at the Gorham Road post office thought he may have accidentally dropped $1,700 in Visa traveler’s checks in the mail slot with the rest of his mail.
Stolen snowmobiles
On Dec. 5, at about 5:30 p.m., a resident of Beech Ridge Road reported the theft of two Ski-Doo snowmobiles from the closed garage. The snowmobiles are valued at $8,400 and $4,800.
Postal center vandal
On Dec. 6, about about midnight, sugar was put into the gas tank of a postal worker’s car at the U.S. Postal Service Distribution Center on Postal Service Way. On Dec. 7, at about midnight, also at the distribution center, a mirror was stolen off a Jeep Cherokee. A third car was vandalized at the distribution center on Dec. 9, at about 6 p.m. Sugar was again put in the gas tank. The estimated damage costs for the third car was about $2,400.
Equipment theft
On Dec. 7, at about 8 a.m., a construction trailer at Lowe’s on Gallery Boulevard was vandalized and robbed. Construction equipment was stolen and about $1,000 of damage was done to the trailer.

Stacie M. MacDonald, 29, Long Plains Road, Buxton, was arrested on Route 22 on charges of operating with a suspended registration and operating after suspension.
Daniel B. Violette, 39, Sky View Acres Drive, Arundel, was arrested on the I-295 spur on a charge of operating after suspension.

William W. Norton, 20, Andrews Road, Biddeford, was arrested at the Puffin Stop on Route 1 on a warrant charge of failing to appear for operating after registration was suspended.

Burke T. Hazard, 22, Woodward Hall, Gorham, was arrested on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

Marjorie A. DiBiasio, 55, Temple Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, was arrested on Route 1 on charges of operating after suspension and on a warrant charge and failing to appear for operating after suspension.

Nathan A. Cunningham, 28, Anderson Street, Portland, was arrested on Payne Road on a charge of habitual offender.
