On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Downtown Westbrook Coalition will announce the winner of the group’s downtown holiday window-decorating contest during a Business in the Brook event at Mister Bagel on Main Street, from 5-7 p.m.

Twenty-two downtown businesses participated in the contest, where storefront windows were decorated and painted with holiday-themed art. Voting for the winner has been conducted on the coalition’s Facebook page, with the business gaining the most amount of “likes”taking home a $100 Portland Pie pizza party. A $50 gift card for a business selected by the Downtown Westbrook Coalition will also be awarded.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Anime Weekend is leading, with the Dancing Elephant trailing closely. Voting will end Thursday at 4 p.m. To vote, go to www.facebook.com/DowntownWestbrookCoalition.
