USM dean’s list

Several full-time Buxton students have been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Southern Maine.

They are Jessica Lindsey Avery, Danielle Kayla Dalton, Abigail Rae Hayes, Amy Lynn Morrison, Tyler William Nelson, Gabrielle E Powell, Katie L Quinn, Sarah Caroline Smith, Shawn Starkey, Joshua Joseph Stutes, and Mao Ye Sr.

McIlwaine on college president’s list

Kyle McIlwaine of Buxton has been named to the president’s list for high academic achievement during the spring semester at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.

McIlwaine is a junior majoring in criminal justice.

Craig Gilbert of Westbrook, owner of North East Housewrights, says restoration costs per window at Tory Hill Church was $1,200. The church windows are identical with originals at the art gallery that underwent renovation at the University of Southern Maine’s Gorham campus.
