Although Marvel Comics heroes are often created in a series format now, the Fantastic Four was one of the first comic book series for Marvel. When asked what he found interesting about the Fantastic Four, Donald mentioned their lack of “secret identities” which was so important to super heroes in other comics. While there are several comics on display in the case, the case is also filled with toys, games, figurines, and other collectibles that honor the Fantastic Four heroes. Young and old alike will enjoy stopping by the library for a look at this interesting collection.

Call the library at 892-1908 for more information or for directions. The Windham Public Library is located at 217 Windham Center Road, and is open Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
