Gallo joins Martins’s Point in Gorham

Martin’s Point Health Care has recently announced that Dr. Sarah Gallo, a family medicine physician, is the newest addition to the Gorham Health Care Center.

Gallo will be practicing family medicine, which will also include obstetrics and inpatient medicine. “She really enjoys the range of patient interactions that she’s been able to have with these varied interests – from the joy of prenatal visits and delivering babies to the slower pace of caring for the elderly and hearing their life stories,” Martin’s Point said in a statement. “She considers it an honor to be a part of patients’ lives at these different stages.”

Gallo received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, and her bachelor of science degree from Northeastern University. She completed her family medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

“I am able to do the best job possible when I can develop a relationship with a patient so that treatment can be tailored to an individual’s values and beliefs,” Gallo said in a statement. “This helps to promote the patient’s healthiest possible life. I love that I can develop these trusting relationships by having the opportunity to care for patients throughout their lives.”

Gallo is accepting new patients in the Gorham Health Care Center. For more information or to reach Gallo, call 839-2559.
