Buxton students excel

Several students from Buxton were recently recognized for their academic achievements in colleges.

The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania has announced that Greta Niedermeyer was named to its dean’s list for the fall semester. Niedermeyer is a sophomore majoring in biology in the university’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester reported that Matthew Atienza, Aaron Benton and Jessica Gardner were named to the president’s list for the fall semester. The three are seeking bachelor of science degrees.

Atienza is majoring in justice studies, concentrating on policing and law enforcement; Benton, computer information systems technician, concentrating on web design and development; and Gardner, accounting – accelerated track.
