Auditions will be held this weekend in Windham for “BOO! Thirteen Stories from Halloween,” a Windham Center Stage Theater production that celebrates Halloween with a witch’s brew of playlets, each designed to make your skin crawl and tickle your funny bone.

This eerie review of 12 skits and a one-act play, all with a sinister twist, is just the thing for a few scary chuckles. Directed by Darnell Stuart, performances will be held Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Casting male and female roles from ages 11 to 90-plus.

Auditioners should come prepared with the following – the funniest joke you know, the scariest short story you’ve ever heard or experienced (true or fiction, one to two minutes long), as well as a cold reading of the script.

Auditions are Friday, Aug. 14, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 15, 10-11 a.m. Callbacks will be Saturday, Aug. 15 at 11:30 a.m. Auditions are in the Windham Town Hall, 8 School Road, Windham.
