April 6, 7: Jordan Small Middle School Drama Club presents the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical Oklahoma! on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 starting at 7 p.m. at Jordan Small Middle School in Raymond. April 10: SAD 6 Bonny Eagle kindergarten registration from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Edna Libby School in Standish. Parents should bring your child, birth certificate, immunization records (including proof of chicken pox), child’s Social Security number, driver’s license or proof of residency. April 12: The University of Southern Maine annual Job Fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. in the Sullivan Gymnasium on Falmouth Street, Portland. Students, alumni and the general public are welcome to discuss employment and career possibilities with more than 70 employers.

April 14, 15: 24th Annual Gem and Mineral Show, presented by the Maine Mineralogical and Geological Society, at the Finley Center, University of New England, 716 Stevens Ave. in Portland. Admission, adults $4. Children under 12, free. Seniors and teens under 18, $3.

April 19: Anxiety Solutions in Raymond is hosting a therapy group for those suffering from generalized social phobia. The 12-session group will take place every other week from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Anxiety Solutions on Webbs Mills Road in the former Olde Place Restaurant location. Each session costs $100. April 19: “Thomas Merton on the Ethic of Nonviolence” is the topic of a lecture presented by Sr. Marilyn Sunderman, associate professor of theology at Saint Joseph’s College. April 29: Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake is holding auditions for its annual Spring Variety Show on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Come prepared to perform your act. An accompanist will be available.
