Can’t fool this bank

Police met at the home of a local bank representative who lives on Ocean House Road regarding an attempt to withdraw funds fraudulently from bank. A woman who called the bank said she represented an account holder who was too ill to call and asked that money for medical expenses be wired to an out-of-state account. The bank denied the request, because the bank representative knew the account holder and recognized the attempt as fraudulent. Police suggested the account holder get a new debit card and obtain a credit report to verify that no new accounts had been created.
