It has been my pleasure to serve on the board, and enjoyed the learning process. However, I feel I have no choice but to step down, due to my inability to effectively serve at this point in my personal/professional life.
I wish the organization only the best for the future, and regret any inconvenience my resignation my cause. I thank you for the opportunity, and may you find success in your visions.”
Erin L. Curtis, as of late Monday afternoon this week, was the only candidate to pick up nomination papers, Myers said.
“Under state law, the selectmen cannot appoint a school board member,” Myers said.
