Westbrook Boy Scout Troop 81 is again sponsoring its Westbrook Together Days pancake breakfast 7-9 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Riverbank Park.
The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, toast, coffee and juice. The cost is $4.50, for adults and $2.50 for kids.
Ruth Chretien, troop treasurer and wife of longtime scoutmaster Dick Chretien, said the adults would do the cooking. The scouts will serve customers under a tent and the breakfast will be held rain or shine.
The breakfast is a big affair for the scout troop. In order to make sure breakfast is ready for the hungry early birds at 7 a.m. on Saturday, the scouts will camp out at the park Friday night, June 1.
The pancake breakfast has become a tradition at Westbrook Together Days and it is a great way to start the day and get ready for all of the fun on Riverbank Park during the day.
