Skyline Farm in North Yarmouth will be the place for food and fun Saturday, July 12, during its annaul auction and lobster bake.

Maine’s premier auction featuring horse-drawn carriages, sleighs, driving and riding appointments, carriage and wagon parts, harnesses, miscellaneous horse related items, antiques and collectibles begins at 10 a.m.

Consignments are most welcome. This auction, officiated by Phil Stanton, is perfect for buyers and sellers alike. The registration fee for a bidder’s package for two adults costs $15.

Skyline Farm’s sixth annual lobster bake offers the choice of a lobster bake or steak dinner, great live entertainment, a silent auction, horse-drawn carriage rides and a carriage museum exhibit.

Social hour begins at 5 p.m. and features a bagpipe performance by Jeff Herbster.

The buffet will start at about 6 and includes lobster and clams or steak, with rolls, corn, potatoes, coleslaw, watermelon, blueberry cake and lemonade.

Tickets are $50 per person. A concert by singer/songwriter Carolyn Currie will follow as horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered at $10 per person. Silent auction winners will be announced at 7:30, and the museum exhibit will be open from 8 to 9.

Skyline Farm, a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization, is located at 95 The Lane in North Yarmouth (near the junction of routes 9 and 115).
