The South Portland McDonald’s located at 419 Gorham Road is showcasing its McDonald’s After Midnight menu with a community event on Friday, Sept. 27.

With a goal of serving 1,000 customers from 9 p.m.-midnight, the restaurant will serve 24? hamburgers and cheeseburgers (limit of 10 per customer) and 50? apple or pumpkin pies. There will also be a radio remote, giveaways and drawings for an 32-inch TV and an iPod Touch (must be present to win).

In addition, customers who come in wearing their game uniform or school colors will receive a small French Fries with any purchase. Ten percent of sales between 9 p.m. and midnight will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Portland.

“We’re excited to invite the South Portland community and beyond into our restaurant for a fun evening of celebration that will also benefit the Portland Ronald McDonald House,” said South Portland McDonald’s Owner-Operator James Nygren. “We have been a part of this community for many years and we look forward to giving back to our customers who have supported us, as well as new customers alike, with this night of fun.”

The new McDonald’s After Midnight menu answers the question, “Dinner or Breakfast?” with “yes.” After midnight, Gorham Road, South Portland, customers can choose from breakfast items such as the Egg McMuffin Breakfast Sandwich and the new Egg White Delight, or from rest-of-day menu items including a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder burgers and Chicken McNuggets, plus many more offerings.

The Gorham Road, South Portland McDonald’s offers 24-hour dine-in and drive-through operations.
