The Rebekahs will hold a yard sale July 15, 16 at the Odd Fellows hall. The hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can rent a table for $10 per day. For more information please call 892-6686 or 893-2430.

Veterans

Mr. Robin Shepard, State of Maine Veterans Advocate, will be at the Windham Veterans Center July 12 from 9 to 11 a.m. He will be available to veterans and family members to assist them in applying for benefits. There is no appointment necessary and there is no fee for this service.

Birthday

Louise Tubbs, Nash Road, celebrated her birthday May 20. She attended a cook-out with family at her grandson Scott’s home.

Open

The Windham Historical Society is open May through November from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The regular meetings held on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. are open to the public.

Home

Molly Pecoraro has returned home to 15 Main Street, South Windham, Apt. 1. She spent several months at Ledgwood Manor then was at Springbrook. Molly is a charter member of the Rebekahs. She would appreciate cards from her many friends.

Visits

George Libby, of New York, recently spent four days visiting family. While here he stayed with his mother, Beulah Mason and her husband, Wes, of Varney Mill Road. He also visited with his sister, Darlene, and her family and with his son, Billy. George also celebrated his birthday while here on June 26.

The Windham Historical Society is seeking donations for a yard sale July 15 to raise funds for the Parson Smith House aquisition. Please call 655-3421 or 650-7484 and they will pick up items.
