I just wanted you to know that my fiance, Lisa

Southwick, and I fully support the efforts of

Westbrook Our Home, and we believe the Town Council

should accept the document that the Planning Board

worked so hard to produce, concerning the restrictions

placed on any retail development that abuts a

residential-zoned area.

We agree with the folks over at Westbrook Our Home that

while it is important to be friendly and open to

business in our community, it is equally important to

be responsive to the needs of the citizens of

Westbrook and to protect and preserve our residential

neighborhoods. I trust the Town Council will support

the exceptional job the Planning Board has done and

take a responsible stance on neighborhood protection

in our community, regarding the site plan standards.
