Missionary Work
Joey DeLeo, of Naples, but who has worked in Windham for years, has been in South Central Phoenix at the Valley Christian Center doing missionary work. A very rough area, this area has the highest number of children in foster care in the United States and 75 percent of the kids have no father. The local gangs are getting members at the age of 7 and 8. He met a girl who is 12 that has been homeless since she was 6 but she comes to the church everyday and plays with the other children.
