Letter: Thanks for band support

1 min read

On behalf of the Scarborough Band Boosters (www.scarboroughmaine.com/bandboosters/), I am writing to publicly thank all of the band volunteers and local business owners for their ongoing support. We recently received a wonderful gift from Malcolm Noyes, owner of Fashion Floors, Inc. He donated three 4×6 bound rugs to serve as floor protection for the drum sets located at the high school and middle school. This generous support is heartening and very appreciated.

Scarborough’s band programs teach music skills to approximately 800 students, grades 5-12. The Scarborough Band Boosters are a dedicated group of volunteers with a desire to enrich the band program. The boosters are involved with everything from the upcoming annual pie sale, raising funds to purchase instruments, and the hosting of band festivals. Scarborough is fortunate to have such a supportive community- thank you!
