Naples Custom Motorsports would like to thank all who participated and visited with us during our open house/grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 2. Guests enjoyed live music with rocker Pete Finkle, a Philly-style pig roast, had their mean machines cleaned by the Bikini Wash Girls, and purchased raffle tickets to win some awesome items with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine. Our first year of business in the Lakes Region was formalized with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, with representatives from both the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and the Make-A-Wish Foundation on hand.

As a business sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we raised $318 on Saturday, which will be applied toward our 2009 goal of $6000 – the amount needed to grant one wish. Our fundraising efforts will continue through the summer with Biker Breakfasts on the last Saturday of each month.

Congratulations to Make-A-Wish Raffle winners L. Oliver, half helmet; Al, full helmet; Joyce Mills, car care kit; Laurie Hodge, designer belt; D. Clark, $50 NCM gift certificate; Rick Walker, leather jacket; Arlene Tornberg, leather jacket; Jim Newbegin, four-man conversation float; and to Mark, the “Baddest Lookin’ Biker.”

Special thanks to Jim Christie of Make-A-Wish; Mrs. Tux and Jen Adler, GBLRCC; Pete Finkle; Brittany and the Bikini Wash Girls; BBQ John & Co.; Naples Fire Department; Donna Richie, star cashier; Aimee, PJ, and all the kids who took charge of the raffle table. Great job!
