SCARBOROUGH – Scarborough Communications Center answered 9,493 911 calls in 2011, with July being the busiest month, with 831 calls, the Scarborough Police Department said on its Facebook page this week.
Tuesdays and Fridays between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. were the busiest days for dispatchers, with the peak time being 10 a.m. Also, dispatchers received more wireless 911 calls than business or residential 911 calls.
