Lions Journey For Sight
Nine Lions and friends completed the annual 5-mile journey from The Oliver Stores in New Gloucester to the True Value Plaza in Gray on Saturday, June 10, to benefit the blind and visually impaired.
The walk helps provide eye exams and glasses for children and adults in the Gray/New Gloucester communities who cannot afford them on their own and helps support the services of the Iris Network, the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation and other programs providing service to the blind and visually impaired.
The Lions wish to express their sincere appreciation to the many community businesses whose generous contributions make life (and sight) a little better for the people of Gray and New Gloucester.
