AS a reader of The Current, I truly understand your need to print news and current events.
The story, however, about Martin Greeleys embezzlement (Jan. 18) bothered me. Because of the information that was printed, his suffering family, once again, was upset.
The home and address of what you thought was Mr. Greeley is incorrect. In fact, he has not lived there for several months. His family and ex-wife, who you identified in your story and who were not involved in any way, live there. So for you to splash a picture of their home and address across the page was intrusive to the family, which has worked hard to hold their heads up in the community for the cold, calculated crime of someone they once loved.
Next time you report on such a thing, perhaps a picture of the guilty person’s face would be much more pertinent to the story.
