The Friends of the Windham Public Library wanted to thank Rod Jordan of Studio Flora and Sebago Gardens for allowing the Windham Public Library to use his trailer for the Summerfest parade.

Our team of float-assembling, trailer-pulling, treat-disseminating, smiling, waving and bubble-blowing insects and net-wearing bugs did such an insect-erific job that the official Summerfest parade judges deemed us third place winners! The trophy is on display in the Windham Public Library’s children’s room.

A huge thanks to the team, including the Adams family of Tonya, Steve, Hannah, Hunter, Haleigh, and Hudson); Diana “DeDe” DeRice; Jen Klimko and her son Derek; Deb Turner and granddaughters McKenna and Briley; Ethan and Ezra Smith; the Snow family of Kim, Steve, Megan, Nicole and Jocelyn; Tommy and Megan Ferrian; and Jessica Stumper.

And last but not least, a thank you to Jerry Howard for allowing me to transform his VW Beetle into a ladybug!
