Two Naples men were arrested yesterday in connection with a domestic dispute involving a firearm.
William Edwin Merrow, 22, of 11 Valeriani Drive, pointed a gun at his wife at around 6 a.m. Thursday before fleeing the scene, said Capt. Don Goulet of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Merrow was later located in Westbrook and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. He was released on $500 cash bail, Goulet said.
Investigators said the firearm used in the incident was found to be stolen. As a result of the investigation into the firearm, Joshua A. Valeriani, 23, of 13 Valeriani Drive, was arrested on charges of theft of a firearm. He is currently being held at Cumberland County Jail on $5,000 cash bail.
