The recent canoe raffle held by the Standish Memorial American Legion Post 128 was well received. The lucky winner was Mr. Robert Brown of Standish. We wish to thank all who participated in our first raffle of more to come, and also wish Mr. Brown many hours of pleasure and enjoyment canoeing through the many beautiful rivers of our state.

Our meetings being held at the Kiwanis Club House on Route 25 in Standish. Kiwanis graciously shares their space with us and other community organizations such as the Cub Scouts in their mission to serve the community, especially the children.
