One of the first brick schoolhouses built in Windham, this is the Windham Center School, in 1904. It was located on Windham Center Road, just below Corsetti’s store and was taken down many years ago. Here, teacher Edith Elliott is pictured with her pupils – including Maurice Rogers, Percy Rogers and Edna Hawkes. This is one of hundreds of school photos in the archives of Windham Historical Society.
