Bonny Eagle Middle School seventh grade students in Curt Porter’s Introduction to Drafting classes have been learning basic drafting and design incorporating model rockets. Above, Davey Swan and Kacie Marceau get ready to fly the rockets they have made. The students studied the aerodynamics of flight and learned how rockets are fueled for flight. After they had this all down on paper, they used their designs to make model rockets and flew them on school grounds. Courtesy photo by Kathy Campbell
