I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved with the first annual Preschool Fair on March 15 at the Naples Public Library.

Despite the snowy start to the morning, about 20 families came out from all over the Lake Region to meet area preschool teachers. It was great for not only those folks to make connections, but also for the preschool teachers to meet each other – some of them for the first time!

Many thanks to the schools and teachers who participated: Erica Chute and Megan Stiehler from Highland Ridge Preschool; Rosemary Jordan from Little Log Cabin Montessori in Windham; Laurie Mondville and Martha Crockett from A Loving Attachment Childcare in Windham; Barbara Simpson from Mayberry Hill Preschool in Casco; Suzanne Gianattasio from Peter Rabbit Preschool in Naples; and Mary Harrington from Rainbow Valley Kids in Sebago. Thanks also to Leslie McConnell, MSAD 61’s Home to School Liaison, who was at the fair and helped get the whole event off the ground.
