Wayne and Jean Roma, of Windham, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Derrick Roma, to Suzanne Smith. Derrick is a graduate of Windham High School and University of Connecticut. He is currently employed with O.R. Colan Associates of Warwick, R.I., as a project administrator in acquisition/relocation. Suzanne is the daughter of Tom and Maryalice Smith of Saranac Lake, N.Y. She is a graduate of New Hartford High School, Hobart & William Smith College, Tufts University and Bunker Hill Community College, and is currently employed with J.F. Kennedy Middle School in Natick, Mass. A wedding is planned for the first day of summer, 2014, in their new hometown residence of Franklin, Mass.
