‘Stuff the Bus’ food drive, hosted by Rotary Club of Breakwater Daybreak, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at Shaw’s Supermarket at 180 Waterman Drive, South Portland. Non-perishable items requested for the food drive are: peanut butter, tuna, spam, hash, spaghetti sauce, macaroni, vegetable soup, canned fruit, and coffee. Shoppers may also choose to donate cash or grocery gift cards to the pantry.

Greater Portland Genealogical Chapter monthly meeting,12:30 p.m. social time with refreshments, program at 1 p.m. with Jan Eakins as the speaker. She will present a program on Mainers in the California gold rush. She will also give some highlights of its effects on the greater Portland area and give some tips for researching genealogy during this period.
