Jan Wilcox, of Intervale Farm, was one of many vendors to attend the first-ever Farmers Market and Craft Fair Saturday at the First Congregational Church in the Lower Village of New Gloucester.

Local farmers and gardeners were on hand selling their produce. Crafters and other artists had jewelry available as well as baked goods and quilts for sale.

The market, which may become a regular event, was planned by church members, and volunteers from the Creative Arts Committee of New Gloucester and the Economic Development Committee of New Gloucester. Staff photo by Harmony Motter
