The Windham Police Association is conducting a fundraiser that consists of selling advertising space for a police yearbook. Due to requirements in the state law we are required to hire an outside contractor to conduct the telephone solicitation for us. The donations collected from the fundraising effort go to local and national charities such as the Maine Adaptive Skiing, youth basketball, Southern Maine Hospice, Relay for Life and many others.
Our solicitation contractor will be picking up donations from people in a red 2011 Kia Soul, her first name is Nancy. If people are not comfortable leaving the donations outside for pickup, they can always drop them off at the police station during the day. The solicitation contractor will not be asking people for credit card information.
The fundraising drive is predicted to last six to eight weeks and will run at the same time that the fire union is conducting their telephone solicitation fundraising drive.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 831-1569 or email us at windhampoliceassociation@gmail.com.
